My name is Michele Vasey. This is my eighth year at the preschool. My first year I was the assistant teacher for the three year old class, then moved on to become the lead teacher for our Pre-K class. I am originally from New Jersey where I attended Burlington County College majoring in Elementary/Early Childhood Education. I transferred to Maryland after my husband George started working for U.S Capitol Police. We have lived in Maryland for 21 years and have five wonderful children. My oldest Sierra is 22 (a senior at Towson University), Brianna is 19 (a sophomore at Towson University), Junior is 16 a (sophomore at Arundel High School), Noah is 12 (a 6th grader at Crofton middle), and our youngest Mackenzie is 3 years old. Before working at the preschool I stayed home with my children. During that time I did a preschool co-op with other mothers. I have always enjoyed working with young children. I feel so blessed to be given the opportunity to teach your little ones this year as they grow and explore the world around them.
