I began my preschool career three years ago at The Preschool at Riva Trace. First as a substitute teacher, then as an assistant for the 3s class. This will be my first year teaching in the Pre-Ks class.
I grew-up an “Army brat.” We moved often, but I spent most of my childhood in Kansas and consider it home. After attending the University of Kansas, I moved to Washington, D.C. for a Master’s in Non-Profit Management. I then worked as a consultant before deciding to becoming a stay-at-home mom when our second child was born.
Our family moved to the area five years ago to be closer to my husband’s family. We love Maryland and are glad to forever call it home. We have three elementary-aged sons. My favorite activities and hobbies are: adventures with my boys, traveling, hiking, reading, yoga, and cooking.
Teaching preschool has been a life-long interest I finally get to fulfill. I feel so blessed to get to spend my day with your little ones!
