My name is Kathy Glenn. I began my preschool career two years ago as a substitute teacher at The Preschool at Riva Trace. This will be my second year teaching in the 3s class. Most recently, I’ve been a busy stay-at-home Mom and a regular volunteer at our elementary school. Teaching pre-school has been a life-long interest that I now get to fulfill!
I am the eldest of three children and grew-up an “Army brat.” We moved often, but I spent most of my childhood in Kansas, where my parents still live. After attending the University of Kansas, I moved to Washington, D.C. for a Master’s in Non-Profit Management from American University. I then worked as a consultant until deciding to stay at home.
We moved to Edgewater three years ago to be closer to my husband’s family. Phil and I love it here and are glad to forever call it home! We have three sons: RJ (8), Will (6), and Sean (3). Our youngest is currently enrolled at Riva Trace. I love adventures with my boys, traveling, reading, yoga, and cooking.
